Jih-Ping Shyu is an accomplished professional in geosciences and marine resources with extensive experience in submarine cable maintenance and oversight of geosciences operations. Currently serving as Operations Maintenance Manager at SubCom since May 2017, Jih-Ping previously held roles at Oceaneering International, Inc. as Geosciences Reporting Supervisor and at C&C Technologies, Inc. as Houston Geosciences Manager. Jih-Ping's background includes project management, quality control, and coordination of numerous geophysical and geotechnical surveys in various regions, including the Gulf of Mexico and South China Sea. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Oceanography from Texas A&M University, as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Marine Resources and Marine Sciences from Chinese Culture University.
