Leah Ellis has a diverse work experience across various industries. In 2012, they worked as an intern at Tesla Motors. In 2013, they served as a Research Associate at E-One Moli Energy (Canada) Limited. From 2018 to 2023, Leah worked as a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently, they are the CEO and Co-founder of Sublime Systems, a company that specializes in commercializing technology for low-carbon cement production.
Leah Ellis has a strong background in chemistry and has pursued a variety of degrees from Dalhousie University. Their education journey began in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree, which they completed with honors in 2011. Leah then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the same institution, which they successfully completed in 2013. Leah's academic pursuits in chemistry didn't stop there, as they continued their education and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from Dalhousie University, completing it in 2018. Leah's education history showcases their dedication and expertise in the field of chemistry.
