Pol Oliver

Pol Oliver currently serves as the Group Finance Director at Submer since September 2024. Previously, Pol held the position of CFO at Starship Technologies from September 2021 to February 2024, where significant transformations were made within the finance function and a strong team of finance professionals was developed. Pol also worked as a Non-Executive Advisor for Acqustic, offering strategic guidance and mentoring the founding team, while overseeing global finance functions as the Global Finance Director at Glovo from September 2017 to September 2021. During this time, Pol implemented various initiatives to enhance financial systems and processes and played a critical role in the Glovo-Foodora Italy acquisition. The career began at Deloitte España as an Audit Senior, focusing on statutory audits and internal control systems. Pol holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Esade and a Master in Financial Management and Company Audit from UPF Barcelona School of Management.
