Derek Robertson

Derek Robertson currently serves as the CEO of Subsea Micropiles, a position held since January 2018. Prior to this role, Derek co-founded Marine Technology Partners and worked in business development for new ventures at Lockheed Martin. Leadership experience includes serving as President of Wavebob, LLC, where establishment of U.S. operations occurred, and as a management consultant for Strategic Insight, Ltd., providing support to the US Navy on integrated warfare systems. Earlier roles include R&D Program Manager at the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, overseeing a significant R&D program, and serving as a Naval Officer in the US Navy, responsible for managing personnel during critical evaluations. Educational credentials include an SCPM in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University, an MBA from Trinity College Dublin, and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
