Melissa Cooper

Melissa Cooper has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Melissa currently serves as the VP of Strategy and Growth at Success Academy Charter Schools since 2022. Prior to that, they were the VP of Strategy and Corporate Development at Carbyne from 2021 to 2022. Melissa also worked at Prophet, where they held various positions including Director of Corporate Strategy & Operations; Head of Global M+A from 2018 to 2021, Sr. Manager of Corporate Strategy & Operations; Head of Strategic Partnerships from 2017 to 2018, and Manager of Corporate Strategy & Operations from 2013 to 2017. Before joining Prophet, Melissa worked as a Marketing and Brand Strategy Consultant at Vocalocity in 2010-2012 and as an Associate Marketing Manager at BKV/ResponseMine from 2009 to 2010. Melissa also gained experience as an Event Planning Coordinator at Eventfullyyourz in 2009 and as a Marketing Strategist at Emory Healthcare in 2008.

Melissa Cooper holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University with a cumulative GPA of 3.9/4.0. Melissa appeared on the Dean's List for six semesters. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Merger Week from Kellogg Executive Education in 2021.
