James Hubbard

James Hubbard is an experienced educator currently serving as the Assistant Director for Career Communities in Public Administration, Government, and Law at Suffolk University since July 2024. Previous roles include a Fourth Grade Teacher at Shore Country Day School from August 2016 to July 2024, where responsibilities included teaching a structured homeroom class, curriculum design, and coaching junior varsity basketball. Prior to that, James was a Fifth Grade Teacher at Saint David's School from August 2013 to June 2016, focusing on American history and religion while coordinating various school events. Earlier experience includes a teaching assistant role at Shore Country Day School and a summer camp counselor position at Camp Woodtrail. James holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Colby College.
