Hanna Valjakka has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Hanna started their career as a Freelance Journalist for the Student Union of the University of Vaasa, where they wrote articles and took photographs for the student magazine. Hanna then moved on to work as a journalist for Nemesys Ltd, where they eventually became the Chief Editor, responsible for supporting other journalists, writing articles and reviews, and creating marketing materials.
In 2009, Hanna joined Samsung Electronics Nordic AB as an Online Editor, where they planned and executed online marketing and marketing materials for Samsung Electronics Finland. This role also involved participation in other marketing activities.
From 2003 to 2012, Hanna worked as a Freelance Journalist for Pop Media Oy, specifically for the Inferno metal music magazine. Hanna'sassignments included informative and creative writing, such as news, articles, reviews, and reports, as well as photography at music events.
Hanna's next significant role was as a Digital Marketing Manager at Volvo Finland Ab, where they developed and implemented online marketing strategies for Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks brands. Hanna'sresponsibilities included driving traffic to digital channels, content marketing, copywriting, website management, social media optimization and analysis, search engine optimization, digital advertising, and more. Hanna also served as the editor-in-chief of the customer magazine Visiitti and trained suppliers and colleagues in online communication.
Hanna'scurrent position is the Head of Marketing at Sulava Oy, where they are responsible for planning and executing strategic marketing activities for consulting and training services.
Hanna Valjakka's education history includes a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Communication Studies with a major in Computer Science from the University of Vaasa, which they obtained from 2001 to 2009. Before that, they attended Otavan opisto from 2000 to 2001, where they studied Communication and Media Studies. Prior to that, they completed their Baccalaureate at Mikkeli Lyseo college from 1997 to 2000.
In addition to their formal education, Hanna Valjakka has obtained several certifications. Hanna earned the MS-900 - Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification from Sulava Oy in March 2021. In February 2021, they obtained the AZ-900 - Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification, also from Sulava Oy. In November 2020, they completed the MB-220 Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Marketing certification from the same institution. In April 2020, they obtained the Liiketoiminnan digitalisointi Microsoft 365:n työkaluilla certification from Sulava Oy. In February 2020, they earned the PowerPoint - selkeitä esityksiä sujuvasti certification, again from Sulava Oy. Lastly, they obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in October 2018.
