Julie McKittrick is an experienced risk and compliance professional, currently serving as the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Sumer since April 2023, where the focus is on establishing a legal, risk, and compliance function. Prior to this, Julie held key compliance roles at Dr. Martens - Airwair International Ltd and Arriva Group, where responsibilities included creating compliance functions and overseeing global corporate compliance programs across multiple countries. Earlier in the career, Julie has worked as a risk and compliance consultant at JAMCK Consulting Ltd, supported the ethics and compliance program at Tesco PLC, and served in various capacities at EY, PwC, and Ernst & Young, specializing in corporate integrity, compliance programs, and internal audit. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management & Marketing from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
