Mikko Matilainen

Vice President, SFW Engineering at Sumitomo SHI FW

Mikko Matilainen has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Mikko started their career at Amec Foster Wheeler in 2001, where they held various roles such as Proposal/Performance Engineer, Proposal Engineering Manager, Commercial Manager, and Chief Engineer, Systems Engineering. In these positions, they were responsible for technical proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and leading technical and commercial sales teams. In 2019, Matilainen joined Sumitomo SHI FW as Vice President of Engineering, and later became the Vice President of SFW Engineering in 2020.

Mikko Matilainen obtained a Master of Science degree in Energy Technology from LUT University, where they studied from 1994 to 2001.
