Uday began their career at Tata Power Company, where they worked as a Senior Engineer in Operations and Maintenance.
Uday Bapat has a diverse education history. In 1995, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Instrumentation and Process Control from Shivaji University, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Instrumentation from Vivekanand Polytechnic between 1992 and 1995. Later in 2009, they pursued an MBA in International Strategic Business Management from TIAS School for Business and Society, which they completed in 2010. Additionally, Uday has obtained several certifications including a Sweden Driver Licence (A + B) from the Swedish Transport Agency in 2019, an Advanced Account Management certification from INSEAD Executive Education in 2018, and a French Language B2 Level (Niveau B2) certification from Alliance Française de Pune in 2017.
