Peggy Potter serves as the Associate Health & Wellness Director at Madison Area YMCA since October 2017, previously holding the position of Group Exercise Director at Summit Area YMCA, where responsibilities included coordinating and conducting group exercise classes for a membership base of 19,000, supervising staff and volunteers, and managing administrative tasks. Since 1992, Peggy has also been a Group Exercise Instructor at Summit Area YMCA, conducting diverse exercise classes such as Cardio Cross Training, Spin, and Aqua Zumba, and previously taught at JCC of Central New Jersey from 2009 to 2017. Peggy holds a BA in Health and Recreation from Kean University, earned between 1980 and 1984, and also possesses a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation, Leisure, and Fitness Studies from the same institution.
