Stephen Brown is an experienced professional in the mortgage and construction industries, currently serving as Executive Vice President at Summit Mortgage Corporation since November 2009. In this role, Stephen oversees the Secondary, Underwriting, Closing, and Post-Closing departments, focusing on financial performance, risk management, and process improvement. Prior to this position, Stephen held roles as Secondary Manager, where execution of MBS trades and loan identification were key responsibilities, and as a Loan Officer, handling mortgage applications and loan term agreements. Stephen's earlier experience includes Vice President of Operations at JE Dunn Construction and Project Manager at Richard Goettle, Inc. Stephen holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
