Michael Chagnon

Michael Chagnon is an accomplished Senior Manager of Information Technology Operations at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, where responsibilities include spearheading technology operations and digital infrastructure to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency. Currently serving as Technical Director at Opera on the James, Michael oversees production logistics and budget management for large-scale opera productions. Previous experience includes roles as Production Manager at Academy Center of the Arts, where venue operations and staffing were optimized, and as Assistant Technical Director for both Opera on the James and Castleton Festival, where production resources and technical operations were significantly improved. Michael Chagnon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Social Influence from the University of Lynchburg.
