Ben Lopez has over 14 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure management.
Ben began their career at SYKES in 2007, where they worked as an IT Infrastructure Manager until 2009.
From 2009 to 2014, Lopez worked at Telefonica Global Solutions, first as an IT Infrastructure Programme Manager and then as an IT Infrastructure Service Manager.
In 2015, they joined AAG IT Services as the Head of IT Operations, a role they held until 2018.
Since 2018, Lopez has been working at Sumo Group plc. Ben initially served as the Group Head of IT Operations, responsible for supporting multiple subsidiaries. In 2021, they transitioned to the role of External Integration and Operations Director.
Ben Lopez has a Master's degree in Software Project Management from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they obtained from 2007 to 2008. Ben also has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the Universidad del Valle de México, which they completed from 2002 to 2003. In addition, they hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in BA (Hons) Business Administration, 2:1 from the Universidad José María Vargas that they earned from 1989 to 1994. Ben has obtained several certifications, including PRINCE2 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2015, ITILv3 Foundation in IT Management Services from EXIN in 2011, Microsoft System Certified Associate (MSCA) - Windows 2008 from Microsoft in 2009, and Novell Certificate Netware Engineer from Novell in 2003.
