Phil White has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Phil started as an Account Director at Smith Bundy Carlson, where they introduced successful fundraising efforts and launched impactful CRM programs for various brands. Phil then joined Ogilvy, where they held multiple roles, including Managing Partner and Business Director. During their time at Ogilvy, Phil led the strategy and development of integrated marketing campaigns for blue-chip organizations and global accounts. Phil also established a subsidiary agency within the Ogilvy network. Following Ogilvy, Phil worked as a Marketing Director at MyLife Digital Group, playing a crucial role in establishing the marketing function and achieving overall growth for the business. Phil then worked as a Marketing Consultant at Human Theory, where they helped position the organization for growth and devised marketing strategies. Phil later joined Simple, a PE and VC investment-backed SaaS start-up, as their CMO, overseeing the planning, development, and marketing initiatives of the global marketing team. Prior to their current position, Phil worked as a CMO at Paperound, helping launch a new marketplace for UK students while supporting small businesses. Phil is currently the Marketing Director at Sumo Group, where they are responsible for leading marketing efforts. Throughout their career, Phil has demonstrated expertise in brand development, marketing strategy, and team management.
Phil White holds a CIM Diploma from the University of London. Additionally, they have obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Geography from the University of Reading.
