Chris joined Sumo in January 2019, to establish and build the Leamington Studio, which is focused on mobile development. Beginning his career at Codemasters in the mid 90s working on Micro Machines and, as part of the core team who designed and made the Colin McRae Rally series, he has held leadership roles at Codemasters and since 2005, SEGA as CTO.
In his time at SEGA, he also grew HARDlight for them, a mobile Studio which brought the company’s well-loved Sonic the Hedgehog and Crazy Taxi brands to the mass mobile audience.
