Alex Huerta

Alex Huerta, CISA, currently serves as an Internal Audit Specialist at SumUp since December 2023. Previously, Alex held the position of Senior Consultant in Risk Advisory at Deloitte Canada from December 2020 to September 2023 and worked as a Senior IT Auditor at SQM from July 2019 to October 2020. Notable prior roles include Head of Internal Audit at China Construction Bank in Chile, Audit Manager at ProVida AFP, and several positions at Rabobank, including Senior IT Auditor and Senior Operational Auditor. In academia, Alex was an Associate Professor of Internal Audit and Corporate Governance, as well as an Associate Professor of Ethics at Universidad Santo Tomás. Alex possesses a Master's degree in Data Science from Universidad del Desarrollo and multiple diplomas in finance and auditing from various prestigious institutions.
