Abbas Mehdi Zaidi

Abbas Mehdi Zaidi currently serves as the Lead-Electromechanical (HEV) at SUN Mobility, where the focus is on heading a robotics team to develop an advanced battery swapping system for heavy electric vehicles since June 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at Chara Technologies from September 2021 to June 2024, Product Design Engineer at Asteria Aerospace Private Limited from October 2020 to September 2021, Design Engineer (Mechanical RnD) at MQS Technologies Private Limited from March 2018 to October 2020, and Transport Operations Controller at Amazon from May 2016 to June 2017. Earlier career development involved a brief internship as a Production and QC trainee at Bharat Electronics Limited in mid-2014 and leadership in design at e-Yantra, IIT Bombay from August 2013 to June 2014.
