Minz Won

Minz Won is a Senior Research Scientist at Suno since December 2023, previously serving as a Research Scientist at TikTok, where the focus was on Speech, Audio, and Music Intelligence (SAMI), with an emphasis on music representation learning, information retrieval, and recommendation. Minz has held several research internships, including partnerships with Adobe on multimodal music representation learning, Pandora on open-vocabulary music retrieval systems for voice assistants, and NAVER Corp on music representation learning using transformers. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Information and Communication Technologies and a Master's degree in Sound and Music Computing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, alongside other relevant degrees from Seoul National University and Sogang University.
