Beker Baerwald is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Director of Strategic Finance at Spire - Pay with Spire, Inc., since October 2024, a portfolio company of Sunriver Ventures. Beker has been an Investment Analyst at Sunriver Ventures since March 2022 and previously held positions as Corporate Development Analyst and Corporate Development Intern at Priority Real Estate Technology, LLC from January 2020 to March 2022. Beker also gained valuable experience as a Business Affairs Intern at HBO in the summer of 2019 and as an Investment Analyst Intern at Plutus21 Capital earlier in 2019. Beker holds a degree from the SMU Cox School of Business, graduating in 2021, and completed high school at Pacifica Christian High School from 2013 to 2017.
