Alex Wooten

Alex Wooten serves as the VP of Finance at Sunrun since July 2019, following a diverse career in finance and strategy roles at notable companies. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Tesla, where Wooten was integral to North America Sales Finance, and SolarCity, where Wooten directed corporate finance efforts, leading a team to support executive strategy. Earlier roles encompassed corporate strategy development at SunPower Corporation, and financial consulting with Cornerstone Research and RockPort Capital. Wooten began a career foundation with an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
