Sundance Banks

Sundance Banks serves as the Senior Vice President - Legal & Assistant Secretary at Sunrun since May 2019, overseeing corporate and commercial legal teams along with ESG governance and administration. Additionally, Sundance has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Missouri-Columbia since May 2022, teaching courses on technological change and its legal implications. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Corporate Legal at Dolby Laboratories, Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, and Corporate Counsel at Google Ventures. Sundance's early career involved positions in the U.S. House of Representatives and YMCA Educational Services. Sundance holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature & Writing from Tulane University.
