Gemma Knill has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Gemma began their career as an Assistant & Administrator at Knills Enterprises in 2005, where they worked until June 2006. From June to September 2006, they worked as a Dinghy Instructor at Rockley Watersports Centre. In 2009, they joined the healthcare industry as a Technician and stayed until April 2010.
In 2010, Gemma had a brief stint as an Activities Instructor at Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre, from June to December. Gemma then moved on to Sealine International Ltd in January 2011, where they worked as a Naval Architect until January 2012.
Gemma'slongest employment was at Sunseeker International Ltd, starting in January 2012 as a Naval Architect and progressing to Senior Naval Architect from January 2017 to July 2019. Gemma then transitioned to the role of Product Manager from July 2019 to March 2023. Currently, they serve as the Head of Product Management at Sunseeker International Ltd, starting in March 2023 and continuing to the present.

- From 2009 to 2016, they attended Newcastle University and obtained a degree in Naval Architecture, specializing in Maritime.
- Gemma studied at Solent University from 2005 to 2009, earning a BEng degree in Yacht & Powercraft Design.
- Gemma attended Parkstone Grammar School from 2003 to 2008, where they pursued multiple subjects including Physics, Dual Award Science, Mathematics, and Information & Communications Technology.
Additionally, they have obtained certifications including PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from PeopleCert (in 2020), and the Chartered Engineer designation from THE ENGINEERING COUNCIL (in 2018).
