Paul Vela

Paul Vela has over 19 years of experience in business development and strategic account management. Paul began their career in 2001 as a National Sales Director at Global Knowledge, where they played a key role in increasing customer success for the company. In this position, they established and maintained relationships with strategic accounts and oversaw all phases of the sales lifecycle. In 2017, they joined Sunset Learning Institute as a Strategic Accounts Director, where they expanded business in key accounts through leveraging professional relationships and contacts.

Paul Vela holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Paul also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance/Accounting from the University of Houston. Additionally, Vela has obtained various certifications including Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in July 2020, Cisco Sales Expert from Cisco in August 2011, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2019, Licensed Professional Engineer from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in May 2021, and Cisco - Adopting the Cisco Business Value Approach / Cisco Business Architecture Analyst cert. from Cisco in February 2020.
