Paul A. Smith

Paul A. Smith is a highly experienced GIS professional currently serving as GIS Manager at SunShare since December 2022. Prior to this role, Paul worked at CORE Consultants, Inc. as GIS Analyst and later as GIS Coordinator, where responsibilities included establishing company-wide SOPs for spatial data management and supporting significant utility-scale solar projects in Colorado. Additional experience includes positions at Raisa Energy LLC, CB&I, TGS, Anadarko Petroleum, Mullen Geo-Systems, and the U.S. Geological Survey, contributing to various GIS-related projects across diverse industries. Paul holds a Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Programming and Web Map Development from Penn State University and a BA in Geography/GIS with a minor in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder.
