Zaianne Sparrow

Zaianne Sparrow, MPS, is a seasoned professional in user experience and design, currently serving as the Executive Director of Bay Area Malaysians, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting the Malaysian diaspora. Zaianne has substantial experience in leadership roles, including Head of User Experience at Sunshine, where responsibilities involve designing an AI-driven photo-sharing app. Zaianne also serves as Chapter Lead for Ladies That UX San Francisco, organizing events for women in the UX field. Previous roles include Senior Staff Designer at Samsung Research America, where Zaianne contributed to the design of Galaxy wearable devices, as well as various design positions at industry-leading companies such as Abbott Diagnostics, CareerBuilder, and Sears Holdings Corporation. Zaianne holds a Master of Professional Studies in Human-Computer Interaction from New York University and a Bachelor of Design in Multimedia Design from Swinburne University of Technology.
