Ben Griffy

Ben Griffy is an accomplished academic serving as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University at Albany, SUNY since August 2018. Prior to this role, Ben Griffy completed a PhD in Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, while also working as a PhD candidate from September 2012 to June 2018. Educational background includes a B.S. in Economics and Math from the University of Oregon, where Ben Griffy also served as a Research Assistant, Analyst, and Junior Analyst. Experience extends to supporting a Masters-level macroeconomic theory course and involvement with the University of Oregon Investment Group. Research assistance also included work with Scott Bailey, a Washington Labor Economist.
