Carly Sutter

Carly Sutter is a graduate research assistant at the University at Albany, SUNY, since August 2021, with a strong background in actuarial analysis and mathematics education. Prior to this role, Carly worked at Centene Corporation as a senior actuarial analyst and previously held positions as a senior specialist in programmatic strategy and optimization at MediaMath, where responsibilities included optimizing media trade performance and providing analytical consultancy to clients. Carly also has experience in teaching mathematics, having served as a mathematics teacher at Nanjing Foreign Language School and as a graduate instructor at the University of Missouri, where notable achievements included receiving the Excellence in Teaching Award. Carly holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education from North Carolina State University.
