Iggy Beerbower has a diverse work experience in the field of photography. Iggy is currently an Associate Professor of Photography at the State University of New York College at Potsdam since August 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Assistant Professor of Photography at SUNY Potsdam from August 2013 onwards.
Before joining SUNY Potsdam, Iggy worked at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design as a Continuing Studies Faculty from September 2006 to May 2013. During the same period at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, they also served as an Assistant to the Circulation Coordinator in the Media Center. In this role, they were responsible for equipment operation, maintenance of facilities, managing reservation and circulation systems, inventory reports, training, and supervision of staff.
Iggy also has experience working as an Adjunct Faculty at Anoka Ramsey Community College from January 2008 to January 2013. Additionally, they worked as a College Lab Assistant at Anoka Ramsey Community College from September 2012 to December 2012.
Furthermore, Iggy gained teaching experience as an Adjunct Faculty at Normandale Community College from July 2006 to August 2010.
Iggy Beerbower completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Photography from the University of Hartford from 1990 to 1993. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Photography at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design from 2000 to 2002.
