Teppo Suontakanen is a skilled professional with extensive experience in finance and management across various organizations. Currently serving as a Payroll Specialist at Felm since May 2018, Teppo previously undertook a short-term role as a Theology Intern at the Evangelical-Lutheran congregation of Harjavalta in 2023. From April 2015 to April 2018, Teppo worked as the Financial Manager for Nuorten Kotkien Keskusliitto, overseeing accounting and financial communications. Earlier career highlights include serving as the Executive Manager for Helsingin Sosialidemokraattinen Nuorisopiiri ry, managing operations and finances, and roles in customer service and security. Teppo holds a Master's degree in Theology from the University of Helsinki, alongside prior degrees in Theology and Human Resources Management.

Suomen Lähetysseura on evankelis-luterilaisen kirkon kansainvälisen työn järjestö ja yksi Suomen suurimmista kehitysyhteistyöjärjestöistä ja iso rauhantyön toimija. Lähetysseura on yksi ulkoministeriön kehitysyhteistyön ohjelmatukea saavista järjestöistä. Teemme työtä 27 maassa yli sadan kumppanikirkon ja -järjestön kanssa. We currently work in 27 countries with more than 100 partner churches and organisations. There are over 1200 employees in our projects all around the world. We live and work at grassroots level together with local people, building fruitful partnerships within local communities. Felm is an internationally active organisation that works under the Finnish Lutheran Church. As one of the largest Finnish civil society organisations working in global development we are a key partner organisation for Finland’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
