Sirpa Koskinen has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Sirpa started their career as an auditor at PriceWatehouse in 1987. Sirpa then moved on to Tamro Corporation in 1988, where they held various financial positions, including group accounting manager and finance expert in an ERP-project. Sirpa worked at Tamro Corporation until 1998 when the company was called Spontel Oy.
In 1999, Sirpa became the CFO of Componenta Corporation and served in that role until 2003. Sirpa then joined Hackman Oyj as a group accounting manager before moving to Kemira Growhow Oyj in 2004, where they held the position of group accounting manager until 2008.
From 2008 to 2013, Sirpa worked at Glaston Corporation as a group controller. Following that, they joined Sanitec in 2013 as a group financial controller until 2015.
Since 2015, Sirpa Koskinen has been working at Suominen Corporation as the VP, Group Controller. In this role, they are responsible for the external reporting of the Suominen Group, as well as communication to Nasdaq Helsinki. Sirpa also leads the controller organization of the group, which includes various plant controllers and an accounting manager.

Additionally, it supplies nonwovens for hygiene and medical applications, such as wound care products. Its customers include international brand owners and private label manufacturers. The Company operates production plants in Finland, Italy, Spain, Brazil and the United States. In July 2014, it completed divestment of its flexible packaging business.
