Fiona Carlstrom has extensive work experience in the field of internal audit and risk management. Fiona began their career at KPMG in 2007, where they worked in internal audit, risk, and controls services until 2009. Fiona then joined EY as a Risk and Internal Audit professional, where they played a key role in building the firm's credentials across Western Canada and developing enterprise risk management strategies for clients. In 2016, Fiona moved to Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), where they served as a Senior Manager in Internal Audit and played a crucial role in transforming the department. Fiona was instrumental in increasing in-house team capabilities, leveraging co-source models, and implementing data analytics strategies. Since 2018, Fiona has been working as the Head of Group Internal Audit at Super Retail Group, a prominent retailer in Australasia. Their responsibilities include overseeing internal audit operations for the group's brands and presenting to leadership and audit committees on a regular basis.

Fiona Carlstrom has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a major in Accounting from The University of Queensland.
