Eero Harmaala

Game Programmer at Supercell

Eero Harmaala started their work experience in 2012 as a Research Assistant at the University of Turku. In this role, they took part in a mathematics project while completing their Master's Thesis. Eero'sresponsibilities included solving mathematical problems, programming, creating graphics, and giving seminar presentations.

In 2013, Eero joined Rovio Entertainment Ltd. as a Junior Game Programmer, and later became a Game Programmer. Eero worked on game development projects until January 2015.

From 2015 to 2018, Eero worked at Seriously Digital Entertainment. Eero started as a Game Programmer and was later promoted to Senior Game Programmer. In December 2017, they became the Lead Programmer, a role they held until May 2018.

Most recently, Eero joined Supercell in June 2018 as a Game Programmer. The end date for this role is unknown.

Eero Harmaala completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Turku, from the years 2005 to 2013. In addition, they also attended the Reserviupseerikoulu / Finnish Military Service from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained the rank of Reservin vänrikki (2nd Lt.) through the program RUK 229. No specific field of study was provided for the military service.
