Harry Kanwar is a VP, Risk & Compliance at Superior Plus. Harry has over fifteen years of experience in the field of internal auditing.

Harry began their career as an Internal Audit Manager at the Bank of Montreal in February 2002. Harry then moved to Rogers Communications in December 2004, where they held the same position. In September 2005, Harry joined BDO Canada LLP as a Senior Manager.

In January 2012, Harry was appointed Director of Internal Audit at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. Harry held this position until March 2016. During their time at the GTAA, Harry was responsible for delivering independent, objective assurance and consulting engagements designed to add value and improve the organization’s operations. Harry also assisted the organization in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Harry has been with Superior Plus since March 2016 and currently serves as the VP, Risk & Compliance. In this role, they are responsible for leading the development and implementation of the company’s risk management program.

Harry Kanwar has a degree in Economics with a focus in Accounting and Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University. Harry also has their high school diploma in Accounting and Business/Management from Milliken. Harry is also a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.

They are on a team with Ash Rajendra - VP & Chief Information Officer, Beth Summers - EVP & CFO, and Erin Seaman - VP, Tax. Harry Kanwar reports to Luc Desjardins, President & CEO.
