Zia Tariq

Zia Tariq has extensive experience in sales and engineering roles within the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the Head of Sales for Defense at Supernet Limited since May 2015. In this position, Zia leads the Defense Sales and Business Development team, focusing on a diverse range of products and services including Satellite Communications, Optical Fiber Solutions, and Cybersecurity. Prior to this role, Zia held several positions at Comstar ISA from October 2011 to April 2015, including Manager Commercial for Satellite Services and Pre-Sales Engineer, where responsibilities included supporting the sales team with proposals and generating Bill of Materials. Zia began the career as a System Support Engineer, specializing in installation and troubleshooting of VSAT and radio links. Zia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications from Comsats Institute of Information Technology, obtained in 2011.
