Zara Dana

Zara Dana, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Supportiv. Previously, Zara held the position of Chief Technology Officer at EdLight, PBC, where significant contributions included engineering computer vision segmentation and developing multi-modal AI models for educational insights. As an AI/ML Engineering Manager at SmartThings, Zara improved ETL pipeline efficiency and led a team in enhancing an AI model’s performance. At Snickerdoodle Labs, Zara spearheaded a data science roadmap resulting in cost savings and improved satisfaction. Earlier roles included Director of Artificial Intelligence at Supportiv, Founding Data Science Lead at OneTrust, and AI Researcher at 7D Surgical, with a strong foundation in biomedical engineering from the University of Toronto and advanced studies at Stanford University.
