Duane Fields

Duane Fields is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Sur La Table since January 2025, Duane previously held significant roles, including Vice President of Software Engineering at GLG from June 2014 to July 2024, where management of global teams and the delivery of high-quality software solutions for 3,400 employees were key responsibilities. Duane's engineering expertise also encompasses co-founding Exact Magic Software, leading mobile engineering at Tastemade during a critical growth phase, and directing mobile engineering at Demand Media, where integration efforts played a pivotal role in facilitating corporate expansion. Duane holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Texas A&M University.
