Alessandra Hawthorne

Alessandra Hawthorne currently serves as the VP Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel at Surescripts, a position held since 2023. Prior to this role, Alessandra accumulated extensive experience at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2005 to 2023, where responsibilities included Global Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer for the US, and Director and Deputy Compliance and Ethics Officer. Earlier in the career, Alessandra worked as Senior Counsel at Fujifilm from 1998 to 2005. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Smith College, and Executive Education at both Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and INSEAD.
