Todd Thomas

Todd Thomas has extensive work experience in product management, agile product ownership, and software engineering. Todd currently holds the position of Senior Agile Product Owner at Surescripts, where they manage an Agile team's output and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and enhance a high-volume healthcare records application. Prior to Surescripts, Todd was a Senior Technical Product Manager at Spok, where they helped communicate the technical vision of an enterprise software solution and played a crucial role in the product launch and deployment process. Before Spok, Todd worked at McKesson, starting as a Product Support Analyst and later transitioning to roles such as Agile Product Owner and Senior Software Engineer. In these positions, they were involved in various aspects of development, support, project management, and product strategy. Todd also has experience from their earlier years as the Director of Support at Lodging Touch International. Todd has proven skills in prioritizing work, developing product backlogs and roadmaps, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Todd Thomas earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Concordia University-St. Paul between 1988 and 1992. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include being a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, which they achieved in November 2021. Todd also became a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in June 2017 and obtained the SAFe 4.0 Product Manager/Product Owner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2017. Furthermore, they acquired a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification in January 2015, although the institution granting this certification is unknown.
