Surgical Science
Daniel Evestedt has a strong background in software development and haptics technology. Daniel was the Vice President of R&D Software and Head of Development at Surgical Science from 2019 to the present. Prior to that, they worked at SenseGraphics AB for fifteen years, where they co-founded the company and served as the CTO. In this role, they were responsible for technical development, including the design and implementation of the H3D API, a platform for multi-sensory applications. Daniel also provided haptics consultancy work for medical and dental simulation applications. Before joining SenseGraphics AB, Daniel worked at Reachin Technologies AB as a Software Engineer and Product Development Manager from 2000 to 2004. Daniel'sresponsibilities included programming interface and application development in haptics and computer graphics.
Daniel Evestedt obtained their MSc in Computer Science from Uppsala University from 1996 to 2000.
