Dana Wegener

Dana Wegener has extensive experience as a Senior Scientist at Surmodics since September 2006, specializing in bio-analytical techniques such as ELISA, microarrays, and heparin-related assays, alongside strong analytical chemistry skills in HPLC and GC-FID. Dana is proficient in method development and validation, familiar with cGMP and cGLP standards, and has a strong software background including GenePix and Microsoft Office. Prior experience includes roles at the University of Minnesota as a Head Student Copy Center Employee and Plant Biology/Fungi Curator Assistant, as well as serving as Head Cook at Pizza Hut. Dana holds a degree in Biology with a focus on Asian Languages & Literatures (Chinese) from the University of Minnesota.
