Justin Woo is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law. Currently serving as Senior Legal & Intellectual Property Counsel at Surmodics since February 2018, Justin previously held positions as Legal & Intellectual Property Counsel and Associate at Schwegman, Lundberg & Woessner, and worked as a Patent Attorney at Patterson Thuente Christensen Pedersen, P.A. Justin began a career in the legal field after obtaining a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Additionally, Justin holds dual bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Minnesota. Early career experiences include internships at General Mills and Protein Design Labs, where responsibilities involved pilot plant experiments and engineering tasks.
