Mike Burkstrand

Mike Burkstrand is a Senior Biomedical Engineer at SurModics, a position held since August 1998, specializing in R&D and process engineering with an emphasis on tissue engineering applications and the sustained delivery of protein therapeutics. Prior to this role, Mike served as a Biomedical Engineer at Cytotherapeutics from March 1997 to July 1998. Mike earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
