Shane Cunniffe

Shane Cunniffe is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in the field of extrusion, currently serving as a Senior Extrusion Engineer at Surmodics since June 2013, after holding the position of R+D Extrusion Engineer. Prior to Surmodics, Shane worked at Boston Scientific from December 2007 to June 2013 as a Process Development Extrusion Technician and at Medtronic as an Extrusion Technician from May 2003 to December 2007. Educational qualifications include a degree from Technology University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus, completed between 1995 and 1998, as well as specialized training at the First Polymer Training Centre, Polymer Centre, NVQ, and SQT Training Ltd, further enhancing expertise in the polymer industry.
