Floyd Short

Floyd Short is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in both private practice and government service. Since January 2006, Floyd Short has served as a Partner at Susman Godfrey LLP, where expertise is applied in various legal matters. Prior to this role, Floyd Short worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney at the United States Attorney's Office from 1995 to 2005, leading the prosecution of a diverse range of federal crimes with a particular emphasis on white collar crime, and supervising the white collar crime unit from 2002 to 2005. Earlier legal experience includes serving as an Associate at Preston Gates & Ellis LLP from 1992 to 1995 and clerking for Judge Betty Binns Fletcher at the United States Court of Appeals from 1990 to 1991.
