Greg Thong is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in sustainable finance and corporate coverage across the Asia-Pacific region. Currently serving as Director of Corporate Sustainable Finance at Sustainalytics since April 2022, Greg leads initiatives to promote sustainable finance practices and engages with banks and issuers. Prior roles include Head of Corporate Coverage for Australia and New Zealand at Societe Generale, as well as several directorships within Societe Generale focused on asset-based finance and client coverage in South East Asia. Greg's career began in tax accounting, with positions at leading institutions such as Chase Manhattan Bank Australia and Arthur Andersen & Co. Educationally, Greg holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and multiple advanced degrees in Banking and Finance from UNSW.
