Vasudeva Rao

Vasudeva Rao has extensive experience in finance and business control, currently serving as Sr. Director and Finance & Business Controller at Sutherland Global Services since May 2005. In this role, responsibilities include partnering with business leaders, participating in strategic meetings, governance over cost drivers and KPIs, and involvement in technology implementation projects such as Hyperion Business Intelligence. Previously, Vasudeva held positions as Senior Financial Controller, focusing on account finalization under Indian GAAP and US GAAP, cost governance, and compliance. Earlier career experience includes roles at Brigade Corporation and Infoline LLC, where Vasudeva managed financial accounting, compliance, and administration, as well as significant contributions at ICICI Home Finance, Centurion Bank, and Voltas Ltd, encompassing accounting operations, tax management, and audit processes. Vasudeva Rao is a Chartered Accountant, having completed the qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 1987 and 1990.
