Samuel Breed

Samuel Breed is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as a Partner at Sutter Hill Ventures since December 2020, focused on building impactful companies alongside talented teams. Previously, Samuel held roles as Senior Staff Software Engineer and Engineer in Residence at Credit Karma from October 2015 to December 2020, where substantial improvements were made in the deployment frequency of front-end updates. Prior experience includes co-founding Cognizant Quick Left in April 2009, where Samuel contributed to its growth from a two-person firm to a team of over 40 across multiple offices by October 2015. Samuel Breed holds a degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, completed from 2004 to 2007, and is an alumnus of Jesuit High School of Tampa, FL, graduating in 2004.
