Currently serving as Deputy General Manager of Nacelle Procurement, Purchase & Strategic Planning at Suzlon Group since May 2007, Akshay has held multiple roles within the organization, including Assistant General Manager and Senior Manager in Nacelle Purchase. Prior to this, Akshay held managerial positions at Finolex Industries Limited and served as Head of Purchase at Sugar Corporation of Uganda Limited. Earlier career experience includes roles as Materials Controller at Dangote Industries Limited and Assistant Manager of Purchase at Bajaj Auto Limited. Akshay holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical from Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, earned between 1985 and 1989.
