Aino Bunge

Aino Bunge currently serves as Deputy Governor at Sveriges Riksbank since December 2022. Prior to this role, Aino held the position of Stabschef and Vice VD at AMF Pension from August 2019 to December 2022, where the organization managed 750 billion SEK and provided pensions and investment funds. Aino's career in public service includes serving as Director-General for Financial Markets and Institutions at the Swedish Ministry of Finance from August 2015 to July 2019, overseeing critical legislative matters and financial system stability. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Finansinspektionen, as Executive Director for Markets and Economic Analysis, and contributions to the Financial Crisis Task Force at the Ministry of Finance. Aino began the career at Latham & Watkins as an Associate in the London office. Aino's educational background includes an LL.M. in International Finance and Law from Harvard University and two degrees from Uppsala University in Economics and Law.
